We're thrilled to announce that Silviu Apostu has been promoted to Partner at Matterwave Ventures.

Expanding the Partnership is a special milestone for our firm. It reflects deep trust, a growing track record, and a shared stake in the firm's strategy and its responsibility to the founders we back.

Since joining us in 2022, Silviu has been a driving force across our activities in computing, photonics, semiconductors, connectivity, and AI. He works closely with portfolio companies such as Akhetonics, ZeroPoint Technologies, Firecell, and Roseman Labs, where he has established himself as a trusted partner to their founders.

He brings intellectual curiosity and technical depth, along with a focus on finding and backing the next European deep tech champions. Before joining Matterwave, he founded his own company and worked in telecoms and management consulting.

We are excited about him joining the Matterwave Partnership and wish him great success in the new role.

Since joining us in 2025, Mia has quickly become a valued member of our investment team, contributing across dealflow, due diligence, and our work with portfolio companies. She brings sharp analytical rigor, genuine curiosity, and a collaborative spirit that fits Matterwave perfectly.

Mia holds a background in biomedical engineering, adding valuable technical depth to our team as we back the next generation of European deep tech and industrial technology companies.
